This is what happens when materials sit on your studio table for too long... they grow faces.
I bought the silverplated filigree piece and the brass magnifying glasses at the same time, and left them on my table for a while. Then I looked at them one day, resting on one another, and thought, heyyyyyy... that's a face.
The filigree foliate-looking piece reminded me of Green Man imagery, and the magnifying glasses looked to me like something out of a Peter Max design. That's how the name evolved: she was going to be Green Max, but those eyes were just too feminine.

Additional materials used: 26 gauge copper wire, a smidge of jewelers' cement (to tack the glasses in place while I did the wire wrap), Swarovski crystals (nose & mouth), brass chain and components, hand-dyed green silk cord.

urrgh. it's almost four in the morning and my brain can't make words good. frustrated! so many adjectives i want, but... duh...
