Tui: In Fond Memory

Memorial collage in honor of my sister-in-law's dear Havanese dog, Tui. The camera just barely picks up the angels on either side of Tui; they're sitting on top of strands of Swarovski crystals.

"Hei Maumaharatanga" is Maori for "In Fond Memory" (my husband's family is from New Zealand).

All sorts of materials here... the shimmery black fabric is organza; it's layered with handmade paper and black lace. The birds are tui birds, her namesake.
